    NOT AFRIAD, BUT ALMOST

    What makes you nervous?

    “If it watches you back……………run”

I loved a good scare, even if horror movies made me nervous. One stormy night, l decided to watch a horror movie marathon alone. I lined them up: The Ring, Sinister, Hereditary, It Follows, and The Babadook. As the rain tapped against the window, l curled up on the couch and pressed play.

    First, the Ring.

A cursed videotape. No big deal, right? But halfway through the film, my phone lit up with a message: “Seven days.” l laughed it off—probably a prank.

    Next was Sinister.

Home videos of families that vanished. As the film played, l heard a creak behind me. I paused the movie. Nothing. But my TV screen glitched for a second, showing static and a shadowy figure.

    Then came Hereditary.

Creepy family secrets, eerie clicks. The moment the character made that clicking sound with her tongue, l heard the same sound… from the hallway. Click. Click. I whispered, “It’s just in my head.”

    Then It Follows.
A shape-shifting curse that walks toward you. During a quiet scene, l glanced at the window—and saw a figure standing outside. Still. Unmoving. Watching.

    I froze.

    Finally, The Babadook.

As the monstrous storybook played out on screen, l heard a knock knock knock at my door. Three times. Just like in the movie.

I stood up slowly. “Nope,” l said, grabbing the remote.

But the TV wouldn’t turn off.

The screen changed. A new title appeared:
“THE WATCHER’S CURSE – STARRING YOU”

And beneath it: “You watched them all. Now they’re watching you.”

The room went cold. The lights flickered. The TV went black.

In the reflection, l saw something behind me.

Even the machines fear the unknown.

  •        THE BEAUTY OF UNFINISHED THINGS.

           THE BEAUTY OF UNFINISHED THINGS.

Jot down the first thing that comes to your mind.

    “Morning Whispers and Unfinished Pages”

Every morning begins the same, yet it feels different. As soon as l open my eyes, there’s a gentle silence, like the world pausing just for me. In that pause, l send a quiet thank you upward. It is a small, sincere prayer to the Almighty. I am grateful for the simple miracle of waking up. That moment, soft and still, always comes first.

Then reality kicks in — not harsh but full. My mind begins its dance of reminders: What didn’t I finish yesterday? Did I post that blog story? Did I reply to that comment? I check my phone. It feels like a digital extension of my thoughts. I scan through blog drafts and social media updates. Little messages from readers who wait for my words like morning sunlight also appear.

My timetable blinks on my screen: campus life calls. With my bag packed and notepad tucked safely inside, l step into the day, my heart balancing learning and purpose. University halls, lectures, group chats, laughter in between — it all flows like a steady stream.

Lunch at home is my pause button. Not long, just enough. Then it’s back to the notepad. Scribbles of series ideas, blog titles circled in red, half-formed characters waiting to come alive. The unfinished calls again — but it doesn’t mind. Because in every task left hanging, there’s a promise that l am still growing.

In my world, growth is the best kind of story.

  • A TALK THAT TAUGHT ME ALOT.

A TALK THAT TAUGHT ME ALOT.

Describe a decision you made in the past that helped you learn or grow.

“A Conversation tThat Shaped My.       Understanding”
To be honest, not all decisions that i have made were right or correct. I have made wrong decisions, too. So, not only in my case, actually, everyone makes mistakes, what we learn from it is how do we rectify the wrongdoings, or what we learn.

When we talk about maturity, it comes with experiences and experiences that include right and wrong decisions of life that we make. Right decisions give you the pleasure of being successful, while wrong decisions teach you to be careful while making decisions further. Sometimes, taking advice from others is good, but many times, you need to analyse what you are supposed to do .

The main thing that i have learnt is that in today’s competitive scenario, you can not trust anyone. Not all actually help you decide on your behalf just for their own benefit.

You need to be extremely careful while making important decisions of life.

           Meaningful talks, Meaningful lives.

    Thank you.
